HYPE Wayne County is spending their February meeting at Reid Health, meeting new providers, getting a behind-the-scenes look at Reid, and learning more about the largest employer in Wayne County.

The Chamber's 3rd annual Couch Shopping event is scheduled for December 2nd! Location will be determined closer to the event.
The public will be able to watch live from the Wayne County Area Chamber of Commerce's Facebook page. The event will begin at 6:30 pm. Each merchant will have up to 20 minutes to sell their products. Nonprofits will receive 10 minutes! If you would like additional time, please let us know. In the past gift cards and items that are highly reduced in price seem to go the best. We will be promoting your specials heading into the event!
Guests will be instructed to pick up the items the next day or in the following week, based on store hours. The Chamber staff will track comments throughout the event to help you manage your workload.
Wayne County Area Chamber of Commerce is working on a collaborative approach to the Shop Small Season. We encourage ALL businesses to fill out this registration form with their information regarding the holiday season. The form, linked below, will be shared with all Main Street Organizations, the Chamber of Commerce, and marketing groups!
Our hope is that this information informs everyone and prevents overlap of events!
Shop Small Season begins with Shop Small Saturday on November 26th and runs through the ENTIRE holiday season!
Meet the current and newly elected officials for Wayne County. All elected officials will be invited to introduce themselves and mingle with guests. Light hors d'oeuvres will be provided, and a cash bar will be available! Event sponsored by Comcast.
